The U.S. Embassy in Pristina announcement on the coronavirus
The U.S. Embassy in Pristina has provided information to its citizens concerning the coronavirus, by confirming that there’s no positive case in Kosovo.
The official Embassy announcement, published on Twitter and Facebook today, as well as on its website, states that there is no confirmed case of coronavirus within the territory of Kosovo so far.
“Kosovo has not confirmed cases of COVID-19 within its borders. The World Health Organization (WHO) donated 750 COVID-19 test kits to Kosovo. The first suspected case in Kosovo was tested and found to be negative—the negative results were determined using WHO test kit ‘rRT-PCR’,” the statement states.
Further, in the official Embassy announcement it is stated that Kosovo is not applying any entry and exit ban.
