In a televised appearance on his media last night, Director of Klan Kosova TV, Baton Haxhiu said thathe have an information, according to which the leader of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti, and Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci, have met two more times, and not just during the official 4-minute meeting in the Presidency.

However, journalist Baton Haxhiu, who is also known for being close to President Thaci, also said that he don’t know what President Thaci spoke about with Mr. Kurti during those meetings.

“Mr. Thaci and Mr. Kurti have met twice. And they have talked long. They know the subject of their meeting, and I don’t know the content. But, they’ve met and talked long. They were correct and they didn’t publish it,” Haxhiu says.

Meanwhile, VV member, Liburn Aliu, reacted harshly on these allegations of Mr. Haxhiu.

Aliu, in his post on Facebook post, in addition to calling Mr. Haxhiu a spy, has indirectly said that he would in other circumstances kick Mr. Haxhiu for this scandalous lie.

“Baton has lost sense with reality.  Albin has caused him an incurable trauma. His latest noise on Albin’s alleged meetings with Hashim shows how devalued he is, even as a spy. For such a mischievous lie, Stanisic would kick him out of the office,” Aliu wrote.

Yet, the institution formed for the protection of journalists, AGK (Kosovo Journalists’ Association), doesn’t intend to respond to the threat that the member of VV addressed toward journalist Baton Haxhiu.

Chairwoman of the AGK, Gentiana Begolli-Pustina, told Periskopi that they have discussed this issue within AGK. And, as she said, even though the members of the AGK have voted whether to respond or not to the insults and threats of Liburn Aliu, they’ve voted against reaction.

“The majority of the Board was against the reaction,” the AGK chairwoman says for Periskopi.

On the other hand, for the spokeswoman of VV, Arlind Manxhuka, Mr. Haxhiu’s claims are false.

Mr. Haxhiu has defended his claims, and has suggested to Mr. Kurti to inform his party membership about the meetings he had with the president.
