The AAK continues collection of signatures from the deputies for an extraordinary session on tariff
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) is continuing to collect signatures, in order to convene an extraordinary session during which the 100 percent tariff on goods coming from Serbia would be discussed.
Member of the AAK, Pal Lekaj, told the news portal Telegrafi.com that they have collected 31 signatures so far.
“31 signatures have been collected so far; 13 from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, 5 from NISMA and 13 from our party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo,” he said.
The AAK opposed the stance of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, for replacing the 100 percent tariff with full reciprocity, in economic, political and commercial relations with Serbia.
Few days ago, leader of the AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, asked from Prime Minister Kurti, to remove the 100 percent tariff only if Serbia accepts a final recognition contract at existing borders, and not to drop the tariff just for the sake of the dialogue, as the dialogue process is already consumed and compromised.
“If you go the first way, for the options of final recognition contract, you will have my full support and the support of the Alliance. If you continue with the offer for returning to that consumed and compromised process, we will hold you responsible for the consequences, ”Haradinaj stressed.
Otherwise, 40 signatures are required for calling an extraordinary session.
