With the authorization of the Democratic League of Kosovo President, Isa Mustafa, Skender Hyseni held a meeting at the White House, in Washington, with the President Trump’s Special Envoy, Ambassador Richard Grenell.

According to Hyseni, during the joint meeting, Grenell told him that the U.S. cannot protect Kosovo from itself, respectively from the irresponsible behavior of its Government and its leaders. This was, according to Hyseni, main message of Ambassador Grenell.

Moreover, during the same meeting Grenell also said that the United States cannot continue to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on military, aid and other projects, in a country where the government works against the interests of its citizens.
