Central Election Commission (CEC) has appointed its new members. Based on the number of deputies, all parliamentary groups will have a member in CEC, except Vetevendosje , that will have two mandates.

Sami Kurteshi and Ali Mrama are Vetevendosje members in CEC.

Sami Kurteshi has failed to be elected as Vetevendosje deputy in snap parliamentary elections held on October 6. However, he has managed to gain a seat in CEC from his party.

Otherwise, new members of CEC are:  Sami Kurteshi, Ali Mrama – VV; Sami Hamiti – the LDK; Arianit Elshani – the PDK; Ibrahim Selmanaj – AAK; Ashraf Vishi – NISMA;  Nenad Rikalo – Lista Srpska; Cemal Kurtisi, Artan Aslani, Rifat Krasnic – from other minorities.
