RTK: The U.S. cancels millions of dollars in projects for Kosovo, until the tariff is dropped
The United States has decided to cancel all major investment projects in Kosovo, until the Government of Kosovo will decide to drop the tariff on goods imported from Serbia.
The U.S. Ambassador to Berlin Richard Grenell, who is also President Trump’s Special Envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, had a sharp and clear communication today with Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and with Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, to whom he made it clear that the U.S. is ready to invest millions in Kosovo if the tariff will be dropped.
“However, the U.S. will cancel all of these projects, until the government will not remove the tariff and give up its plans for the reciprocity,” the Radio Television of Kosovo cites its source, informed about the issue.
