Rakic from Srpska Lista: We will establish ‘the Association” without asking Kosovo
The verdict against Ivan Todosijevic (former Minister in the Kosovo Government), represent continuation of ethnic cleansing of Serbs (from Kosovo) by other means, says leader of the Lista Srpska, Goran Rakic, for Belgrade’s daily Politika.
Former minister Todosijevic is convicted after stating that Recak massacre was fabricated.
Rakic says that through these kinds of actions “Albanian media continues persecution of innocent people” and that, if the verdict against Todosijevic will not be repealed the possibility that the representatives of the Serbian people will abandon Kosovo institutions, in central and local level, is real
On behalf of the Lista Srpska he also stressed that “the idea for establishing the Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is not abandoned, though it will be realized through consultation with the state of Serbia”.
According to Rakic, establishment of the Association of Serbian Municipalities is a task of Pristina deriving from Brussels Agreement, hence “it is not like a open buffet from which Albanian leaders can choose what they like or not, as it’s an international obligation”.
While using already heard vocabulary Rakic also said that “the Serbs are frightened, as indictments are being raised without based on the speckled evidences, thus it remains questionable whether Pristina will bring new secret indictments from the drawer …”, news portal Koha.net quotes Rakic.
