Leader of the opposition, Kadri Veseli counts all failures of Kurti’s Government during its first month in power
One month after the establishment of the new VV-LDK Government, leader of the opposition, Kadri Veseli launched a series of critics towards it, from accusations for the lack of governing program to failures in the foreign policy.
Veseli emphasized that his was a month of Kurti’s noise and arrogance, in order to justify lack of work.
“In thirty days of the Kurti Government, noise and arrogance became a mean for justifying lack of work. Many words were said just for evading responsibilities towards citizens. However, governments and politicians are measured by work they did and not by words. The number of deputy ministers is decreasing and the number of political advisors is incomprehensible. Unlawful dismissals were made without any procedures, while family members and militants were put in charge of public duties. We’ve seen totally irresponsible domestic politics and a dangerous external policy; and instead of offering security to Kosovo and strengthening its international relations, the opposite is happening. We saw threatening and weakening relations with the U.S., nervousness in relations with Albania and expression of goodwill to Serbia. Just one month in power, but two de-recognitions of Kosovo’s independence. This is an overview of just a month in power, full of noise, dangers and uncertainty. Kosovo deserves better,” Veseli wrote on his Facebook page.
