Kosovo has new government, Albin Kurti is the new Prime Minister
The Kurti Government received enough votes in the Kosovo Assembly, considering that there were 66 deputies that voted in favor of the new government, and 10 abstentions.
The session began with the presentation of the program by Mr. Kurti, the new Prime Minister of Kosovo, continued with statements of the parliamentary groups and with the presentation of the new cabinet.
Prior to this, the VV-LDK government has been criticized by opposition deputies for more than three hours.
Otherwise, the new government will have 15 ministries, six of which will be run by Vetevendosje, six by the LDK, and three by minorities.
The first Deputy Prime Minister in Kurti’s cabinet is Avdullah Hoti, from the LDK, while the Second Deputy Prime Minister is Haki Abazi, from VV.
Minister of Foreign Affairs is Glauk Konjufca, while Minister of Internal Affairs, Agim Veliu, Vice-chair of the LDK.
Yet, Minister of Justice of the LVV is Albulena Haxhiu (VV), Minister of European Integration, Blerim Reka (VV), Minister of Finance and Transfers, Besnik Bislimi (VV), Minister of Economy, Rozeta Hajdari (VV), Minister of Health is Arben Vitia, the LDK spokesman, Besian Mustafa, will henceforth be Minister of Agriculture, Anton Quni (LDK), Minister of Defense, Lumir Abdixhiku (LDK), Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Vlora Dumoshi (LDK) will head the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Hykmete Bajrami (LDK) will head the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
