Kosnett asks Kurti to drop the tariff
The U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, met today with the leaders of Kosovo institutions.
During these meetings Ambassador stressed that the tariff imposed by Kosovo should be removed.
According to an Embassy announcement posted on Facebook today, Kosnett met with Minister of Internal Affairs, Agim Veliu, with Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, with the Assembly Speaker, Vjosa Osmani, with Deputy Prime Ministers Hoti and Abazi, as well as with Foreign Minister, Glauk Konjufca.
“In all of these meetings, as in his regular meetings with Prime Minister Kurti, Ambassador Kosnett speaks about the importance of the U.S. relationship with Kosovo, with a focus on advancing our mutual goals of securing peace, justice, and prosperity, and the economic benefits to come by immediately eliminating the tariffs, ” the press release says.
