Konjufca: I’m grateful to Vlora Çitaku; yesterday I spoke twice with her on the phone
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, expressed his gratitude for Kosovo’s Ambassador to Washington, Vlora Citaku, as she, according to him, read the law correctly and accepted to be withdrawn from the diplomatic mission.
Konjufca said that in last 24 hours he spoke twice with the Kosovo ambassador to Washington.
“I spoke twice on the phone with Mrs. Citaku, twice just within the last 24 hours,” Konjufca said.
“She explained to me everything that’s going on. If the meeting [for journalists] closes, I can explain in detail everything that has been said, “Konjufca added.
Further, Konjufca said that Citaku understood the spirit of the law and agreed to return home.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to our ambassador in Washington, because she understood the law, as I explained. She’s the only one that reacted and said she will return. She has read the law in the correct spirit ”, Minister Konjufca clarified.
