There are two personalities that could succeed Vlora Çitaku in the position of Kosovo’s Ambassador to the U.S.

According to Klan Kosova, there is harsh battle going on for this post between Skender Hysen of the LDK and Kosovo publicist, Veton Surroi.

Hyseni is part of the LDK, and has already held once the post of the Foreign and then that of the Minister of the Interior in previous government of Kosovo.

In parallel, Mr. Surroi is known for his participation in the Rambouillet conference and in Vienna process. He was actively involved in politics with its former party ORA. His political adventure with ORA ended up fast, as it failed to pass the electoral threshold and become part of the Kosovo Assembly.
