Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has accused Albania for plotting with the US.

In a statement released following the attacks against the two US bases in Iraq, Khamenei among other mentioned Albania, as a small European state plotting with America and the mujahedins against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“Some small and bad states in Europe are plotting with America and the mujahedins against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Khamenei.

Otherwise, Iran has not recognized the independence of the Republic of Kosovo because it views it as “a puppy of the United States.”

Meanwhile, Kosovo has the largest US military base in the Balkans.
