Haradinaj to Kurti: You’ve rolled trucks and organized bloody protests where people lost their lives; why are you giving up now?
During the extraordinary season of the Assembly for the tariff, the head of the AAK parliamentary group, Daut Haradinaj, asked Kurti not to ‘give up.’
He said that Kurti has been campaigning for a boycott of Serbian products for years, while today he is violating all the promises he made.
“By imposing the tariff Kosovo has shown that it has its landlord. Kosovo was no longer treated by our partners with a footnote but as an ally. Pressure made because of the tariff have not fluctuate our institutions, but made them stronger. Kosovo should not give up on Serbia, considering its insatiable hunger and claims for the territory. I remember Prime Minister Kurti and his political discourse… rolling trucks, bloody protests, loss of life… and all these against Serbia’s 860 bar-code. All these actions were widely popular and gave huge support to Kurti. This ideology didn’t last long. Prime Minister has surrendered without experiencing any pressure. He stepped on each local producer, and broke each ethical code he proclaimed over the years,” Haradinaj said.
