Haradinaj says that ‘the sky agreement’ with Serbia will not abolish ‘the land tax’
Kosovo Prime Minister-designate, Ramush Haradinaj, tackled at a press conference today the airline agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
Haradinaj told the reporters that this deal will not affect ‘the land tax’, as some media reported.
“If you think that the airline agreement with Serbia will abolish the tax, then you’re wrong. The agreement doesn’t impose any additional taxes except the air tax,”Haradinaj says.
The acting prime minister said that Kosovo’s airspace is still managed by NATO, while emphasizing that the airline agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is public although it’s written in NATO ‘language’.
“This achievement will not change anything in our sovereignty. Kosovo’s airspace is still managed by NATO. It doesn’t have any repercussion neither to sovereignty nor to independence. The agreement is public, but written in the language of NATO, ”Haradinaj clarified.
