The official confirmation from Washington that the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist group in the Arabian Peninsula, Qassim al-Rimi, has been killed is saluted by former Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, Periskopi reports.

According to Haradinaj, Kosovo will stands by the U.S. in the fight against terrorism.

“Washington’s official confirmation that Qassim al-Rimi, leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist group in the Arabian Peninsula, is killed in an airstrike in Yemen, is a good and very positive news for peace and security around the world.

Kosovo stands with honor and commitment by the U.S. in its fight against terrorism and in its commitment to securing a free, democratic and peaceful world,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.
