Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Vjosa Osmani, marked today her first failure, in the first parliamentary session since her election as the head of the legislature.

In today’s session, where in the agenda was voting of the parliamentary committees, even though 80 votes were needed in favor for setting the number of committees from 16 to 14, the opposition voted against. This move marked Mrs. Osmani’s first failure as Speaker of the Assembly.

The vote against from the deputies of opposition was justified by the PDK Parliamentary Group Chairman, Bedri Hamza. According to him, this ‘failure of Vjosa Osmani comes as a result of her arrogance and her dishonest behavior.’
