British KLA soldier, Jon Harrison, who helped Kosovo during its most difficult days, had another major challenge to fight – cancer.

Former British Special Forces Officer, who served as a trainer for the KLA in the 138 Agim Ramadani Brigade, announced today on his Facebook account that he won the battle with the disease, Klan Kosova reports.

As a support for this brave man, in 2016 Kosovo has opened a fund.

The retired British officer, holding a tattoo of Delta Brigade 138 “Agim Ramadani” in his arms, thanked Kosovars for the support and for generosity in his battle that lasted many years.

Otherwise, Jon Harrison is highly respected in Kosovo, where besides numerous decorations even a street in Prizren is named after him.
