Kosovo’s president, Hashim Thaci, had a working dinner last night with the State Department envoy for the Western Balkans, Matt Palmer, and other high officials from other government institutions in Washington.

According to Thaci, they discussed the possibilities of reaching a final agreement with Serbia, which would bring mutual recognition and membership of Kosovo to the United Nations.

“At a working dinner with the State Department envoy for the Western Balkans, Matt Palmer, with the Atlantic Council chief, Damon Wilson, with representatives from the Senate and Congress and from other government institutions in Washington, we discussed the possibilities of reaching a final agreement with Serbia, which will bring mutual recognition and membership of Kosovo to the United Nations,” Thaçi wrote on Facebook.
