Abdixhiku cancels tender for the Pristina-Gjilan highway
Minister of Infrastructure and Environment, Lumir Abdixhiku, announced today that he has canceled tender for construction of the Prishtina-Gjilan highway.
The announcement was made public through a Facebook post, Periskopi reports.
“Today the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment has canceled the 110 Million Euro tender, which was announced without the approval of the budget, at the time of the government transition. Through this decision we’re bring back legality to an important financial process to our country. 110 Million Euros cannot be spent without law; not in this new era of governance,”Abdixhiku wrote.
On the other hand, Abdixhiku stressed that the new government wants to assure the Anamorava residents that the Pristina-Gjilan highway project will continue.
