The Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, has authorized today the Minister of Finance and Transfers, Besnik Bislimi, for signing two new agreements between Kosovo and the European Union.

The first agreement is for Kosovo’s participation in the EU program “Customs 2020”, while the second is for participation in the EU program “Fiscalis 2020”, the news portal Telegrafi writes today.

Through these two authorizations Minister Bislimi is authorized by President Thaçi to carry out all related actions needed for conclusion of these two cooperation agreements between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union.

These authorizations have been made in accordance with the constitutional function of President Thaçi as a foreign policy leader, pursuant to the Article 84 of the Constitution of Kosovo, Article 6 of the Law on the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Article 7 of the Law on International Agreements, and Taking into account the request of the Government of Kosovo, respectively its decisions no. 02/04 and 03/04, from 28 February 2020.
