Agim Veliu: Vetevendosje is the most antirugovist party in Kosovo
Relations between the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Vetevendosje (VV) have not only aggravated because of the tariff and deterioration of the relations between Kosovo and the U.S., but because of the confrontation in the extraordinary elections to be held on 15 March in the municipality of Podujeva as well.
Agim Veliu, who has left the post of Podujeva mayor and assumed the post of Minister of Internal Affairs, called Vetevendosje the most anti-rugovist political entity in Kosovo. He made these comments last midnight, at the official opening of the LDK candidate’s campaign for the mayor of Podujeve, Nexhmi Rudari. In his speech Veliu have not just attacked the VV candidate, Shpejtim Bulliqi, but Albin Kurti’s party as well.
“We will have an opponent candidate who left the LDK, who betrayed the LDK, after he received all the benefits from the LDK. He has escaped with the excuse that he has no space to defend and develop the rugovism and has gone to the political entity that is the most anti-rugovist entity in Kosovo,” Veliu said.
