He once insulted Visar Ymeri for respecting Kosovo anthem, but Elvis Hoxha now stands still for it
Not so long ago, member of the leadership of Vetevendosje from Albania, Elvis Hoxha, attacked his former leader, Visar Ymeri, by calling him a traitor, just because the latter rose to his feet during the intonation of the Kosovo anthem.
“Visar Ymeri, from now on, you should also support Zajednica [the Association] and Demarcation. Whoever betrays, betrays right till the end. Go, and have a good luck to the abyss, with the high price you’ve sold your soul,” Hoxha stressed once in his accusation against Ymeri, just because the latter decided to respect the Kosovo anthem.
However, after his political party came to power, Hoxha seem to have changed opinion radically, as he now obviously respects the Kosovo symbols he once insulted and despised, the news portal Metro writes today.
In fact, in addition to Vetevendosje’s leader and Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, it was Elvis Hoxha himself who rose to his feet during the intonation of the Kosovo anthem, as both VV officials visited the Adem Jashari Barracks yesterday, during the ceremony for the 12th anniversary of independence.
