Political analyst, Faton Abdullahu, says that if Vetvendosje is as it used to be Shpejtim Bulliqi would now run for the mayor of the ‘Çakorri Municipality’.

In his post on Facebook, Abdullahu asks whay Bullqi aims to run for the mayor of Podujeve, when all the votes and sympathies he earned from the citizens through the cause ‘of the land sold by the traitors’.

“If Vetevendosje would have continued  today with the same political morality and claims as when it was in opposition,  than VV and Albin Kurti would have to nominate Shpejtim Bulliqi for mayor of the ‘Çakorri Municipality’ rather than of Podujeva. Yeah, I wrote it right, of the ‘Çakorri Municipality,’ as he is obliged and bound to his cause, and to the cause of his party, to work and to return the land that the Montenegrins took away from us. The land that was ‘given’ at that time by ‘the traitorous government’ that ‘sold the land of our ancestors.’

Why Bulliqi wants now to run for mayor of Podujevë, in the totally opposite side of Kosovo, when he got all the votes and sympathy through the cause ‘of the land sold by the traitors.’ What happened today that the value of this land as of this cause has been lost by him and the VV? Why don’t they go today as the government, just as they did yesterday as opposition, and to hoist the Albanian flag there? According to the logic built up for years, the Kurti Government should prioritize the return of that land. What issues can be more precious today than to return the land from the Montenegro. Many votes were earned by VV through this fabricated cause, which is essentially against the Euro-Atlantic interests. What have happened to the land now? Why was it forgotten?  It’s a shame! In fact, nothing ever happened, as it was just a fabricated cause,” Abdullahu concludes.
