During its meeting held today, the Government of Kosovo abolished the decision taken by the Harandinaj’s Government for increase of salaries for all government officials.

However, new decision will have no effect on lowering current salaries in the justice system.

In other words, judges and prosecutors will not to suffer from any salary cut.

Otherwise, according to the 2017 ruling judges and prosecutors had their salaries doubled.

Until then this category was the only one that had not benefited from the pay rise of all public service officials.
