Leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Kadri Veseli, said that with the death of Nexhmije Pagarusha today Albanian nation lost one of the brightest figures in music.

Former speaker of the Assembly stressed that Pagarusha, with her magical talent inspired many generations with national pride.

“Albanian nation lost today one of the brightest figures in music, which is rarely born but are remembered forever. Death of Nexhmije Pagarusha left a huge gap in the very foundations of our art. She was strongly attached to the stage and to the public, and she knew how to leave indelible imprints on anyone who had heard her. With her magical talent she inspired many generations with national pride for our folklore. Farewell Nexhmije, and thank you for the work you left behind!
