Leader of the PDK, Kadri Veseli, reacted harshly today against Prime Minister Kurti’s warnings that he will lift the 100% tariff on Serbian goods soon and replace it with the reciprocity measures.

“The tariff on Serbian goods is a dignified decision of our state, in order to counter successive attacks of Serbia against Kosovo. I express my concerns over excessive haste of the new prime minister for meeting Serbia’s demands and for comforting Lista Srpska, which left from previous government due to the tariff. One government has already felt as a result of the tariff, and this has weakened Kosovo for a while. Hence there should be no political maneuvering on this sensitive topic, as it risks further harming of our country. New government should not surrender to Serbia, before major challenges and decisions that await Kosovo,” Veseli wrote on his Facebook page.
