Displacement of Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci, photography from the office of the new Speaker of the Assembly, Vjosa Osmani, and its replacement with the photography of the former Kosovo President, Ibrahim Rugova, on the first day of her mandate caused a lot of discussions yesterday.

Vjosa’s move was called illegal not just by the opposition but by analysts as well, although it was rejected by the new head of the Assembly, who underlined that she is well aware of the laws, and that the photo of the president had not been removed, but just placed somewhere else.

On the other side, compared to Osmani, Mayor of Ferizaj, Agim Aliu didn’t act this way when he assumed the post from his predecessor from the LDK, Muharrem Sfarqa, who had posted Rugova’s photo in Mayor Office.

Current Mayor of Ferizaj, Mr. Aliu, who’s member of the PDK’s, in his office holds the photo of President Thaçi, along with the one of President Rugova.
