Hoxhaj: We will not vote for any government
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will not vote on Monday for the Kurti’s Government, and will not be part of any government, said member of the PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, for KosovoPress.
Hoxhaj blamed the leader of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti, for failing to establish new Kosovo institutions.
“The Democratic Party of Kosovo is in opposition, and it will remain in opposition. Two hours publication of election results we said that we will remain in opposition and since then we behaved as an opposition to all political processes. Main responsibility for failing to form new institutions lies with Vetevendosje and Mr. Kurti, as he has the mandate. When we as the PDK received the mandate in the past, we created the government… However, we, as the opposition will absolutely not vote for any government formed by other political parties,” Hoxhaj says.
Moreover, Hoxhaj also says that his party will not even vote for any minority government. Otherwise Hoxhaj, who is also Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized that Kurti is not willing to form new institutions of Kosovo.
“It is up to political parties that need to form the government to explain what the minority government is. The PDK remains in opposition and there will be no from our part for such government. Main responsibility is for Mr Kurti and VV, who pushed our country in a political crisis, as they don’t have will nor confidence to establish new institutions, ”Hoxhaj concluded.
