The PDK considers that Vetevendosje’s silence about the ‘People’s Eye’ terrorist organization is alarming. Chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Bedri Hamza said that the party claiming to be ready for leading the state must react towards the organization that is set up for killing political opponents.

The PDK has demanded resignation of Glauk Konjufca, considering, as Hamza said, his “family ties with one of the members of the terrorist organization.”

“One week has passed since the terrorist organization People’s Eye and its members are condemned and we still have no single reaction from Vetevendosje about the organization whose primary target was to kill its political opponents. For the PDK, this kind of approach from Vetevendosje, which claim that is ready to lead the state and its institutions, is unacceptable. Even more alarming is the silence of the Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Glauk Konjufca, who is one of the political ideologues of this organization.

As a holder of one of the most important posts in the state of Kosovo, he has a moral and political obligation to clarify his personal implication with this organization, considering that he is known to be related to Sadri Ramabaja, a member of this terrorist organization.  A systematic campaign of throwing stones, gas, and Molotov cocktails have culminated with the terrorist organization, which prepared a plan for terrorist attacks against its opponents. Twenty years after the war Kosovo democratic institutions doesn’t deserve to be headed by a politician linked with the People’s Eye. Now that the indictment has been confirmed, it is imperative that Speaker of Parliament Mr. Konjufca resigns, in order to preserve the democratic character of Kosovo’s institutions,” Hamza stressed in his statement.
