New airline deal Pristina-Belgrade Grenell calls “a historic victory,” and tags Trump
German airliner Lufthansa has announced today to Kosovo and Serbian authorities that it’s planning to open Pristina-Belgrade airline soon.
Representatives of the company delivered this announcement to the Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority and to the Serbian Ministry of Economy during the ceremony at the US embassy in Berlin, which was attended by the U.S. Ambassador, Richard Grenell, and the Special envoy for Kosovo.
The signature of a letter of intent between Lufthansa Airlines and the Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority for opening of the Pristina-Belgrade airline Mr. Grenell described it as a historic victory.
President Donald Trump once again led us to a historic victory. Kosovo and Serbia today signed an agreement to create the first direct flight between Pristina & Belgrade in 21 years. Thank you Lufthansa, NATO, Robert Cobrien and the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia,” wrote Ambassador Grenell on Twitter.
