Following the news that Kadri Veseli has met today with several party leaders, in order to form a governing coalition, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) issued a statement.

“The news that leader of the PDK, Kadri Veseli, met today with some leaders of other parties to discuss the alleged formation of a governing coalition is not true and is completely speculative.

Veseli is during the day meeting with Albanian officials.  The PDK will remain in opposition as confirmed by Mr. Veseli on October 6, 2019.

Any delay in the formation of the new government by the party that won the elections is harmful for the interests of the country and its citizens,” the statements states.
