Chairman of Vetevendosje (VV) and the prime minister to be has now openly started to violate his own principles, according to which he will form a small government with 12 ministries, as this is the right thing for Kosovo, as he told the citizens during the election campaign.

However, in order to realize his personal goal of heading the prime ministry, Albin Kurti has now begun to make concessions and to violate the principles set by him.

Leader of VV has already formally submitted an offer for the LDK, which predicts that the future government needs to have at least 14 ministries.  The other concession that Kurti already made is the negotiation of the post of the president with the LDK.

Even though he initially said that he refuses to talk with the LDK about the issue of the president, as according to Kurti the president needs to be an issue above parties, he has now offered this position to the LDK just to get the much needed majority for becoming prime minister.

Nevertheless, the LDK so far gave no indication it will accept Kurti’s latest offer.
