President Hashim Thaci met on Monday with leader of the Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti, to consult mandate for the prime minister candidate.

During this few minutes’ meeting Thaci, among other things, gave Kurti’s party a 48-hours deadline to send the mandate’s name to the Presidency.

And, even though this deadline has already expired there’s no other statement from Thaci about the issue. Yet, Arbërie Nagavci of VV said yesterday that “we will send the mandate to the President during the next few days.”

On the other hand, Vetevendosje and LDK held couple of meetings in an attempt to finalize the co-government agreement between them.

They are expected to meet again this afternoon, same as they did during the last two days.
