During his year-end press conference, Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci, said that he is ready to issue the decision or removal of the border between Kosovo and Albania, while invited Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, to do the same.

“As the president of Kosovo, I confirm that as of today; not from tomorrow but as of today we can remove any barrier that is the border between the state of Kosovo and Albania. I invite my friend, Prime Minister Edi Rama, to make the very same decision.

I’m ready, as we cannot expect the whims of Serbia, nor any demand for our reconciliation as two independent and sovereign countries, ” he concluded.
