President Hashim Thaçi has remembered today all those who fought for Kosovo’s freedom. On Veteran’s Day, Thaci congratulated KLA veterans, and says that its martyrs and heroes are the example of sacrifice for the ideal, Periskopi reports.

“On this 30 of December, as well at all other year ends, we honor those who made possible for us to enjoy the freedom and independence – the veterans of our liberation war.

This day also brings to our memory the first battle of the family of legendary commander, Adem Jashari, in Prekaz on December 30, 1991, where our freedom path began.

The war veterans of the KLA, its martyrs and heroes, are examples of sacrifice for ideals and freedom of our people.

Congratulations Veteran’s Day to all veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army!” Thaci concluded his post.
