Former head of Pristina’s negotiation team, Edita Tahiri, says that “Serbia will not recognize Kosovo within existing borders, there may be war.” This statement sparked a lot of reaction of Serbian officials, the latest coming from Aleksandar Vucic himself. He criticized international community for not responding to Tahiri’s words.

“All this is allowed by Western diplomats and Albanians, while we don’t even dare to speak, nor express our different opinions.  But, when Edita Tahiri calls for a war, no embassy says a word. She said ‘there will be a war’ and this is not just an appeal,” Serbian news portal b92 quotes Vucic.

Meanwhile news portal Gazeta Express asked Mrs Tahiri for a respond on Vucic’s statement.

“It is Serbia that is seeking the war and is even being prepared for war. Serbia is being increasingly armed by the Russia. If a place gave priority to weapons, it shows that it can again become an aggressor and spark a war. As for us, Kosovo has always been for dialogue, it proves that it is for dialogue, and will remain the same,” Tahiri explained.
