Upon request of the majority of political parties, Kosovo President, Hashim Thaçi, has changed the date for convening the First Meeting of the Seventh Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

“Responding to the request of the majority of political parties that have earned seats in the Assembly of Kosovo, according to which December 24 is related to Christmas Holliday, President Thaçi has decided that the First Meeting of the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo to be called on December 26, at 3:00 pm,” press release from the Presidency says.

Yesterday, president had scheduled a constituent session for December 24.
