War crimes: Pacolli will deposit 10,000 pages of evidences in the Prosecution
The acting Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, announced today that he will hand over 10,000 pages of war crimes material to prosecutors.
“I will deposit 10,000 pages of material on war crimes committed in Kosovo. This material will be handed over to our prosecutors within few days, and we’ll see what they can do. These were documents present there, though never treated. Around 95% of the criminals mentioned in these documents still act and move freely,” Pacolli says in a news conference.
He also said that, in co-operation with prosecutors, the day for the deposition of these materials is set.
“The historic task is to document the killings, rapes and deportations, perpetrated by Serbian forces. The war in Kosovo ended with many people being killed, or raped. Some of these documents were used by The Hague Tribunal, although in some cases were not,” Pacolli stressed.
