There’s interesting description on Clinton and Albright’s stance in the announcement of the US Embassy
Kosovo has today marked 20th anniversary of NATO intervention, and its liberation day.
Special guest guests were former US president, Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State, and former US General, Wesley Clark.
Except them, as part of this important day for Kosovars, numerous other US and regional officials were also welcomed with high honors.
However, a bit strange detail was noted at the announcement of the US Embassy in Pristina on Clinton’s and Albright’s visit, as the two most important personalities form the US.
Ambassador Philipp Kosnett called the two people whom the Kosovars sees as their heroes as “the visitors”.
” The 20th anniversary of the conclusion of NATO’s Operation Allied Force is significant milestone in #Kosovo’s growth and development. We welcome the many American visitors who returned to mark this anniversary,” the announcement of the US Embassy emphasizes.
